Mario Torres has over twenty years of federal acquisitions program management and over fifteen years of government consulting experience. Mario is a retired service-connected disabled veteran. Mario has run several Program Management Offices (PMOs) in the government and private sectors. Mario is the former Senior Program Manager for the Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System Legacy Project, which was awarded the Project Management Institute (PMI) Best of the Best in Project Management in 2018. Mario also ran the Department of Veterans Affairs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Federal Acquisition Certification in Program and Project Management (FAC-P/PM) certification programs. Mario has a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and an MBA in Federal Acquisitions. Mario lives in Frederick County, Maryland, and holds several certifications, including Certified Scrum Master (CSM), FAC-COR II, and FAC-P/PM Senior Level.
